Final Fantasy I Review

------------------------------------------------------

Final Fantasy I was what started the saga, it may no longer seem that appealing to the next generation gamer, but without the game we could of never saw such splender as Final Fantasy Tactics, VII, IX, etc. The game itself is worth the search it would take to find a copy.

Story:
Spoiler alert The story of this game is simple, but not the the level to be as simple as pokemon. Basicly you take control of four out of six mystic (you are able to pick which) warriors each owns a elemental orb which has last it's shine. The fiends of each element is draining the world of its energy with the help of chaos. Only once you destroy all four fiends, and restore the shines can you destroy the chaos and return the world to peace. There are many subquests that tie into the main quest, all in all the plot is very good for an NES game.

Graphics: The grapics in the game leave much to be desired for most gamers, but they are pretty good when compared with other NES games. Despite the fact that its hard to tell that the characters have two legs during battle the graphics are pretty decent. But require a little getting used to ala Earthbound.

Control: Battles can be tedius, if you EVER complained about the slow down time in Final Fantasy Anthology, you should play this game to humble yourself. Seriosly though the controls are straight forward as expected for most RPG's.

Game Play: As Mentioned before the battles are tedius, the game requires quite a bit of patience, but it's still real fun. Its a classic RPG experience.

Sound: The music in the game is rather good, and highly enjoyable. Just as you would expect from Square. You may find yourself humming the battle theme along with the game as I do.

Final veiw: Its a great game, however it does require patients, but I think its worth it. Anyways, its a classic gaming experience and I give it 7 out of 10 moogles.
