Squall is the mysterious, non-social, shy, overpowered hero of the game, wearing his trade mark jacket even in the midsts of summer he remains mysterious for most of the game. He is Seifer's rival and uses the gunblade as a weapon, and taking a hint from Odin his limit break is Zankenkuken. Strong in both magic and physical power he is well suited for any fast food resturant in the grand U.S. of A.
Seifer, Squall's rival who also carries a gunblade, he uses to pick wax from his ears during boring car trips. Seifer hangs out with the brothers and sisters Fujin and Raijin, who both show through their actions what social rank he has. Cruel and cold hearted, he has little mercy for his enemies.
Rinoa, the leader of the Timber Owls with plans to help make Timber an independent city, weilding the mighty er, hand held boomerang thing, she and her pet dog Angelo prove that all rebel leaders have to be in their late teens. If the hugging Rinoa and Squall on the games logo didn't give it away, I won't spoil it for you. She uses a varieity of dog tricks as her limit break, we are rather impressed.
Zell, at first glance, seems to be a punkish student at Balamb Garden, though in my personal opinion he is the coolist character in the game. He's rash and short fused like most males his age and uses his gloves as a weapon, his limit breaks are pulled off via combos with fighting game button mashing ala Sabin. He's oddly likable with a craving for hotdogs which he is denied almost the whole game.
Selphie as to FF8, as Yuffie is to FF7. They both share a similer attitude though Selphie was never proved to be the spawn of Satan. She's more likable then Yuffie atleast. Her Limit break is slots, which once pulled casts a random spell a random amount of times, on a random target. Not that useful but atleast it can be done over and over. She's a pure magic user as her attacks are quite weak. Atleast she never steals anything from your party, nor does bring about death and calamity. So lets all clap in appreciation.
Quistis is a teacher at Balamb Garden, she worked hard to reach the rank of teacher through years of vigoris training, as such she is also a top soldier. Though she teaches for a thugs for hire place, we're pretty sure that this is the best possible career choice ever. Anywho, she uses the Flail in battle with averge magic and physical strength. Her limit break, Blue Eyes, works like a blue mages ability to use enemy skills. Though she wears glasses she doesn't wear them most of the game so it explains why she follows Squall around aimlessly while in your party, though we have no explanation for the other characters yet.
Irvine is the ladies man of the game, with a obvious crush on Selphie. Dispite this he is trained as a sniper and carries a gun around which he uses to kill flies throughout the garden constantly, as it becomes his obsession. His cowboy impersonating personality proves he has a right to carry a gun anywhere, especially into the homes of random strangers. His limit break enables him to shoot repeatidly at the enemy with a array of specialized ammo and bullets, once he figures out the differnce we will save humanity with that knowalge.
Mysterious character at which who's mysterios past can't be revealed to you becuase we spite you, he bares a machine gun and is friends with Kiros(odd, stealthy, skinny guy with with knifes, the variaty of people that are common throughout any neighborhood) and Ward(large man with muscle shirt, and harpoon, known to be deadly with mops as weapons). Moomba's have an obsession with him and tend to scream his name to you everytime you try to have a meaningful discussion with them.
Cid is like the vice principal of Balamb Garden and though he is the clone of Robin Williams he took part in making the garden, an orphanage for teenagers to train and teach them for violent acts they will commit later in life, whether they graduate or not. A true genius.
Mysterious apparent "bad guy", shrouded in a paper thin veil of unknown stuff she is "evil", deal with it, seeing as this is the last profile you more likely no longer hold any interest.
