Angel of Darkness
And wence the angel departed the light,
It's halo shimmering golden and bright,
It's wings a pure and gleaming white,
So too comes the eternal blackness,
And as the flame of yesterday's past,
Buried, forgotten and gone atlast,
Rise once again to a world so vast,
So too the light shall become darkness.
And when the tears fall to the ground,
Deep in your chest your sad heart pounds,
The winds make a sad low sound,
As the angel throws it's halo into the emptiness.
